    The founder of the royal family had the mosque built by a Turkish architect influenced by the style of the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is seated on a mountain Cliff; and the inner and outer walls are covered with alabaster. It took 18 years to finish the whole complex of the mosque (1830-18480.Before leaving the area, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city with the chance of seeing the Giza pyramids in clear days.

    A very important part of your famous mosques tour is the mosque of Ibn Tulun. It is one the oldest mosque in Egypt and one of the largest in the world; it has very beautiful and lovely architecture and a unique minaret. Work started in 876 and took 3 years to finish. The whole mosque was built with red bricks, a material of construction used during the Abassid era.

    The arches of the courtyard galleries are decorated with beautifully carved stucco, the first time this medium was used in Cairo. Climb up the unique minaret, the only one of its kind in Egypt, is modeled after the minarets of Samarra, with a spiral staircase around the outside.     A Famous Arab traveler said this important phrase when he saw the mosque of Sultan Hassan “If the Pharaohs of Egypt were proud of their pyramids, the Arabs must be proud of Sultan Hassan mosque”.

    Work began in the mosque 1356 and finished 1361.It is named after Sultan Hassan , one of the minor Sultans of the Qalawoon family. The mosque followed the Mamluke style of architecture of the 14 and 15 centuries. The mosque is actually one of the best religious in Cairo and around in Egypt in general. On visiting the mosque, your guide will provide you with detailed history of all the basic elements of the place such as the mosque, the Madrasa (school) and the mausoleum.

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour all-inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the best price possible. Prices valid until 30 December 2019, except during Christmas, New Year & Easter holidays. 
Child travelling with two accompanying adults will pay the following:

  •  0 Years to 1.99 years of age: Free of charge.
  •  2 years to 4.99 years of age: 50% from the full rate.
  •  5 years to 11.99 years of age: 75% from the full rate
  •  12+ pay full tour price as per adult person.
  •  If your tour includes airfare then an extra charge for child rate may apply.


Cancellation requests should be sent via fax or emailed to provide the Company with written confirmation that your reservation should be cancelled.
Reservation should be made as early possible to book the desired holiday.
Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt a deposit of 25 % of the full price. This payment will be 50 % during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare.
The deposit counts as part of your final payment.
Deposit can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) 
Payment should be received within 7 days of booking.

TIPPING Tipping for a job well done is customary in Egypt, though not required. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your guide.
